Editorial Review and Selection Process
At InkSpace, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of editorial quality, integrity, and professionalism. Every submission undergoes a structured editorial review and selection process to ensure that published works are accurate, relevant, engaging, and aligned with the publication's scope and editorial policies.
1. Initial Editorial Screening
Upon submission, each manuscript is reviewed by the Editorial Team to verify its completeness, compliance with the submission guidelines, originality, language quality, and relevance to the publication's focus. Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements may be returned to the author for revision before proceeding to the next stage.
Eligible submissions are evaluated based on the following criteria:
Relevance to the publication's aims and scope;
Originality and significance of the content;
Clarity, coherence, and organization;
Quality of writing and presentation;
Ethical compliance and proper citation of sources.
The assigned editor carefully reviews the manuscript for content quality, factual accuracy, grammar, style, formatting, and overall readability. The editor may recommend revisions to improve the manuscript before making a publication recommendation.
Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts based on the editor's comments and recommendations. Revised submissions are re-evaluated to ensure that all required improvements have been satisfactorily addressed.
The Editor-in-Chief, in consultation with the Editorial Board when necessary, makes the final decision regarding acceptance for publication. Editorial decisions are based on the manuscript's quality, relevance, editorial merit, and compliance with publication standards.
6. Copyediting and Publication
Accepted manuscripts undergo copyediting, proofreading, formatting, and layout preparation before publication. Minor editorial modifications may be made to improve clarity, consistency, and readability while preserving the author's intended meaning.
Editorial Decision Categories
Submitted manuscripts may receive one of the following decisions:
Editorial decisions are made independently and objectively, without discrimination based on the author's institutional affiliation, nationality, gender, ethnicity, religion, or personal beliefs. All submissions are evaluated solely on their academic, literary, or editorial merit.
InkSpace upholds the principles of publication ethics by promoting originality, honesty, transparency, and responsible authorship. Authors are expected to submit original work, properly acknowledge all sources, and disclose any potential conflicts of interest. The Editorial Team reserves the right to reject or withdraw manuscripts found to involve plagiarism, fabricated information, duplicate publication, or other forms of publication misconduct.
