Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer something we only see in movies or read about in science fiction. Today, AI has become part of our everyday lives, influencing the way we shop, communicate, learn, and work. In the field of marketing, AI is transforming how businesses understand customers and deliver products and services. While some people view AI as a threat to jobs, others see it as an opportunity to improve efficiency and create new career paths. As technology continues to evolve, marketers must learn how to adapt and develop new skills to remain competitive.

At its core, marketing is about understanding customer needs and creating value through effective communication. Traditionally, marketers relied on surveys, focus groups, and customer feedback to gather information. Today, AI-powered tools can analyze large amounts of data within seconds, providing businesses with valuable insights about consumer behavior. This allows companies to make faster and more informed decisions. Rather than replacing marketing professionals, AI helps them better understand their customers and create more personalized experiences.

One of the biggest changes brought by AI is the automation of routine marketing tasks. Activities such as scheduling social media posts, generating reports, sending email campaigns, and segmenting customers can now be performed automatically. As a result, marketers can spend more time on strategic activities, creative planning, and relationship building. Instead of focusing on repetitive tasks, they can concentrate on developing innovative ideas that help businesses grow.

AI has also influenced content creation. Many AI tools can generate product descriptions, social media captions, blog outlines, and even video scripts. While these tools can save time, they cannot fully replace human creativity. Successful marketing requires understanding emotions, culture, and human experiences—qualities that AI cannot genuinely replicate. Consumers still value authentic communication and meaningful stories that connect with them on a personal level.

Another significant impact of AI is personalized marketing. Platforms such as Netflix, Spotify, TikTok, Lazada, and Shopee use AI algorithms to recommend products and content based on individual preferences. This creates a more satisfying customer experience and increases the effectiveness of marketing campaigns. Because of this, marketers must understand how these technologies work and ensure that they are used responsibly and ethically.

As AI becomes more common, new skills are becoming essential in the marketing profession. Modern marketers are expected to understand data analytics, customer relationship management systems, digital marketing platforms, and AI-powered tools. However, technical skills alone are not enough. Creativity, critical thinking, adaptability, and problem-solving remain highly valuable. Employers are looking for professionals who can combine technological knowledge with strong marketing insights.

Despite its many advantages, AI also presents challenges. Concerns about data privacy, misinformation, algorithm bias, and the ethical use of customer information continue to grow. Marketers must be transparent in how they collect and use data. Building trust with consumers remains a critical responsibility, even in a technology-driven environment.

Some individuals worry that AI will eventually replace marketing jobs. While automation may reduce the need for certain routine tasks, technological advancements have historically created new opportunities as well. The marketing profession is not disappearing—it is evolving. Those who are willing to learn, adapt, and embrace innovation will continue to find success in the industry.

In conclusion, AI is reshaping marketing careers by improving efficiency, enabling personalization, and providing deeper customer insights. Although it introduces challenges related to ethics and workforce adaptation, it also creates exciting opportunities for growth and innovation. Sa isang malawak na kagubatan, may maliit na sapa na tirahan ng maraming makukulay na bayagbag. Malinis ang tubig at masaya silang namumuhay roon.

Malapit sa sapa ay nakatira rin ang isang tuko. Mabait at matulungin siya, ngunit ayaw siyang kaibiganin ng ibang bayagbag. Madalas nila siyang iwasan dahil sa kanyang kakaibang hitsura at malakas na boses. Dahil dito, nalulungkot ang tuko, ngunit patuloy pa rin siyang naging mabuti sa lahat.

Isang taon, dumating ang napakatinding tag-init. Unti-unting natuyo ang tubig sa sapa. Nalanta ang mga damo at halaman. Naging kakaunti ang pagkain ng mga hayop at insekto. Ang ilan ay lumipat sa ibang lugar upang mabuhay.

Araw-araw, naghihintay ang mga bayagbag na umulan. Ngunit hindi dumarating ang ulan. Dahil sa matinding init, kumupas ang kanilang makukulay na balat at nanghina sila.

Napansin ng pinuno ng mga bayagbag na kahit mainit ang panahon, nananatiling masigla at malakas ang tuko. Kaya't nilapitan niya ito at magalang na nagtanong.

“Kaibigang Tuko,” sabi niya, “paano mo napapanatili ang iyong lakas at sigla kahit napakainit ng panahon?”

Ngumiti ang tuko at sumagot, “Maraming beses ko kayong tinawag upang sumama sa akin, ngunit hindi ninyo ako pinakinggan.”

Nagtaka ang mga bayagbag. Kaya ipinakita ng tuko ang kanyang lihim. Mayroon pala siyang natuklasang lagusan papunta sa isang malamig na yungib. Sa loob nito ay may maliliit na patak ng tubig na nagmumula sa mga ugat at puno sa itaas. Dahil dito, laging basa at malamig ang lugar.

Agad na dinala ng tuko ang mga bayagbag sa yungib. Doon sila nakahanap ng tubig at ligtas na tirahan. Unti-unti silang lumakas at bumalik ang kanilang sigla.

Mula noon, humingi ng tawad ang mga bayagbag sa tuko. Natutuhan nilang huwag husgahan ang iba batay sa kanilang anyo o boses. Natutuhan din nilang pahalagahan ang kabaitan at makinig sa mabubuting payo.

At mula noon, naging mabubuting magkaibigan ang tuko at ang mga bayagbag.

Ang paaralan ay itinuturing na pangalawang tahanan ng mga mag-aaral. Dito nila hinuhubog ang kanilang kaalaman, pagpapahalaga, at kakayahang makisalamuha sa kapwa. Subalit sa kasalukuyang panahon, patuloy na dumarami ang mga ulat ng karahasan sa loob at labas ng paaralan, kabilang ang pambubulas (bullying), cyberbullying, pisikal na pananakit, pananakot, at iba pang uri ng pang-aabuso. Ang mga pangyayaring ito ay nagdudulot ng takot at pagkabalisa sa mga mag-aaral at maaaring makaapekto sa kanilang pagkatuto at kalusugang pangkaisipan.

Ayon sa Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) 2022, tinatayang isa sa bawat tatlong (1 sa 3) mag-aaral sa Pilipinas ang nakararanas ng bullying sa paaralan. Ipinakikita ng datos na nananatiling seryoso ang suliranin at nangangailangan ng mas maigting na pagtutulungan ng mga paaralan, pamilya, at pamahalaan upang mapigilan ang paglaganap nito.

Hindi lamang pisikal na pananakit ang anyo ng karahasan sa paaralan dahil sa mabilis na pag-unlad ng teknolohiya, lumawak din ang cyberbullying, kung saan ginagamit ang social media at iba pang online platforms upang manira, mang-insulto, o manakot ng kapwa mag-aaral. Ang ganitong karanasan ay maaaring magdulot ng mababang pagpapahalaga sa sarili, pagliban sa klase, pagbaba ng akademikong pagganap, at iba pang suliraning emosyonal.

Bilang tugon sa suliraning ito, ipinatutupad ng Department of Education ang Child Protection Policy (DepEd Order No. 40, s. 2012) at ang Implementing Rules and Regulations ng Anti-Bullying Act of 2013 (Republic Act No. 10627). Layunin ng mga polisiyang ito na tiyakin ang isang ligtas, inklusibo, at makataong kapaligiran sa lahat ng pampubliko at pribadong paaralan. Inaatasan din ang bawat paaralan na magkaroon ng Child Protection Committee at mga programang pang-iwas at pang-interbensiyon laban sa bullying at iba pang uri ng karahasan.

Ayon naman sa UNICEF Philippines, maraming batang Pilipino ang nakararanas ng iba't ibang anyo ng karahasan sa tahanan, online, at maging sa paaralan. Binibigyang-diin ng organisasyon na ang pagprotekta sa mga bata ay nangangailangan ng sama-samang pagkilos ng pamilya, paaralan, pamahalaan, at komunidad upang matiyak ang kanilang kaligtasan at maayos na pag-unlad.

Mahalagang palakasin ang edukasyon sa pagpapahalaga, mental health awareness, conflict resolution, at digital citizenship upang matulungan ang mga mag-aaral na makabuo ng positibong relasyon sa kanilang kapwa. Dapat ding hikayatin ang agarang pag-uulat ng mga insidente ng karahasan at tiyaking may sapat na suporta para sa mga biktima at naaangkop na interbensiyon para sa mga sangkot.

Sa kabuuan, ang karahasan sa paaralan ay hindi lamang suliranin ng disiplina kundi isang usaping pang-edukasyon, pangkalusugan, at panlipunan. Ang paglikha ng isang ligtas at mapayapang kapaligiran sa pag-aaral ay isang kolektibong pananagutan. Sa pamamagitan ng pagkakaisa ng mga guro, magulang, mag-aaral, at pamahalaan, maaaring mabawasan ang mga insidente ng karahasan at maisulong ang isang sistemang pang-edukasyon na tunay na nagtataguyod ng kaligtasan, paggalang, at dignidad ng bawat bata.

Are you one of those students who tremble when you hear the word Mathematics? Do you feel intimidated when lessons get more complicated? Is just seeing numbers and formulas make you shiver to the bones? I got news for you. Math is not a subject that is meant to scare you.  It is a skill that you can build one step at a time.  With the right mindset coupled with the right habits, you can always improve. Let me share with you some tips hat can help you study Math more effectively and with confidence. 

First and foremost, you need to focus on the basics. Mathematics can be likened to building a house. You need a strong foundation before layering the floors or piling up for the walls. If you have difficulty with fractions, integers, or simple operations, you should take time to review them. Once you have understood the basics with your heart, the advance topics will be a little less overwhelming. 

Second, you have to practice regularly. Math is not about memorizing facts. It is something like a skill that you need to do. Solving Mah problems every day for just 30 minutes, helps you see the pattern and will strengthen your problem – solving skills. Your small consistent efforts are much more powerful than cramming during the examinations. 

Third, try to break problems into smaller steps. Sometimes big equations or problems can really look scary. But if you solve them one step at a time, they will become more manageable. Write each step clearly; this will help you avoid mistakes and understand the process better.

Fourth, make use of the power of graphs, charts, and drawings. They can make the abstract ideas easier to understand. For instance, drawing shapes in geometry or plotting data in statistics can help you clearly see the problem and not just imagining it. 

Fifth, ask for help when you need it. Doing it alone can be really discouraging, but if you talk to your teacher, friend or someone who is more knowledgeable, it can make a difference.  Sometimes, hearing it from a different perspective is all it takes for a difficult concept to click. Studying with friends can also make learning more fun.

Sixth, connect Math to your real life. Try calculating discounts when you do shopping, measure ingredients when you do cooking or analyze the scores when watching some sports. These everyday examples show us hat Math is not only passing the upcoming exam – it is a tool that you will always need in your lifetime. 

Finally, always keep a positive attitude toward Math. Saying “I am not good in Math” will always be easy. But that mindset will only hold you back. Instead you can remind yourself that it is Ok to make mistakes in Math. Every mistake is a chance to learn. With your patience and your determination, you will see yourself progress. 

Math can be challenging, its true. But Math is not Impossible.
