Editorial Review and Selection Process
The Visionary Research Digest is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity, quality, and ethical publishing. Every manuscript submitted to the journal undergoes a structured editorial review and selection process to ensure that only high-quality, relevant, and original scholarly works are published.
1. Initial Editorial Screening
Upon submission, each manuscript is reviewed by the Editorial Office to determine whether it falls within the journal's scope and complies with the prescribed submission guidelines, formatting requirements, and publication ethics. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors for revision prior to further evaluation.
2. Similarity and Ethical Compliance Check
All manuscripts undergo a similarity assessment using plagiarism detection software. The editorial team also evaluates compliance with ethical standards, including originality, proper citation of sources, authorship, and research ethics. Manuscripts with significant ethical concerns may be rejected without further review.
The Editor-in-Chief or an assigned Section Editor conducts a preliminary assessment of the manuscript's academic merit, relevance, novelty, methodological rigor, and potential contribution to the field. Only manuscripts that satisfy the journal's editorial standards proceed to the peer review stage.
Eligible manuscripts are forwarded to independent subject matter experts for a double-blind peer review, where both the identities of the authors and reviewers remain confidential. Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, significance, research design, methodological soundness, clarity of presentation, validity of findings, and contribution to existing knowledge.
Based on the reviewers' recommendations, the Editorial Board will render one of the following decisions:
Authors receiving revision requests are expected to address all reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript within the prescribed period.
6. Final Editorial Review
Revised manuscripts are evaluated to ensure that all reviewer recommendations have been adequately addressed. Additional review may be conducted when necessary before a final publication decision is made.
7. Copyediting and Proofreading
Accepted manuscripts undergo professional copyediting, grammar and language review, formatting, reference verification, and proofreading to ensure consistency, readability, and compliance with the journal's publication standards.
Following final approval, manuscripts are scheduled for publication in the appropriate issue of the Visionary Research Digest. Authors will receive notification once their articles have been officially published.
The Visionary Research Digest upholds the principles of fairness, transparency, confidentiality, academic excellence, and publication ethics throughout its editorial process. Editorial decisions are made solely on the basis of scholarly merit, originality, methodological quality, and relevance to the journal's aims and scope, without discrimination based on the authors' institutional affiliation, nationality, gender, religion, or personal characteristics.
